| YMM was born out of a vision captured by a group of Hinghwa
Methodist Church members. Pastor Benny Ho was given the task
to lead this group of around 40 members to Yishun in the
year 1997. |
Yishun was chosen because God has laid upon the hearts of
this people a burden for the North. The demography shows
that less than 15% of the population is Christian. And we
feel a strong hand of God on this land. It was time for a
church to take territorial
responsibility in
Yishun! God’s
word for us in Acts 17: 26-27
"And He made from one, every nation of mankind to live on
all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed
times, and the boundaries of their inhabitation, that they
should seek God…"
This tells us that it is God’s requirement of us to tap into
his favor and bless the community and lead it in a
successful search for God…and find Him!
